The great thing about living in a small cramped space with your better half is that you talk to each other more. Now on the flip side is the fact you're in a small space together. So what brilliant idea did I come up with. Figuring out how to make it so there is sectioned off area in our apartment that gives the feeling of being alone. Didn't really workout as planned. Now onward to the hair changes.
For months now I have been rocking my afro and loving it. However, I have a chance to do some private tutoring while I'm in Jeonju. Mostly speaking practice and some other stuff. However, I have found that some Koreans are a bit thrown off by the afro. So changing it up and relaxing my hair. Now this is nothing new to me. I have had my hair relaxed for years. Though the problem that I find is how damaged my hair is after doing so. So I was thinking about what steps I needed to take before relaxing mt hair. So tonight I precondition my hair with coconut oil as a base to the hair and scalp. This really did help in preventing the chemical damage, especially to the hair. Had less of the processed feel and more of a softer flexibility.
Other than the day to day in Korea, I've gotten into playing some old rpg's that I was putting off playing for years now. That an trying to understand my better half a little better. Whoever said that marriage is a work in progress was very right.
